“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Looking Ahead to 50

As I told a dear friend just today, a step backward isn't failure... It's part of the journey.

Lewiston Root Cellar

There is no longer any excuse not to be part of the great commission of Christ to preach the Gospel to all the world.

It's Not About Being Good

Young people raised with nothing stronger than good morals are leaving the church in droves and living self serving lives.

A Busy Weekend

Besides an opportunity to catch up with three of my four brothers, and to celebrate John's birthday, we did three local performances.

Family Fun Day

Rose collected $205 in pledges and walked 6.25 miles in the walk-a-thon.

Letters to Soo

In the 80's there was a ministry called'Slavic Gospel Association', through which believers in the West could write letters of encouragement to oppressed believers in the communist bloc.  This concept inspired the following skit, which addresses how out of touch many American Christians are to what it really means to lay down our lives for our faith.

I wrote this skit years ago and it has never been performed.  I picture an actor on either side of the stage writing these letters as they speak what they're writing aloud.
