“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Easton Baptist Church

Our final Sunday morning show during our six weeks in Aroostook County, Maine, was at the Easton Baptist Church.  We have been to this church every summer for the last four years, and it is always a pleasure to be part of this congregation for a morning.  This year was no different, and we were pleased to see how much the congregation has grown.  It's especially nice to see since the congregation was so young!  Maine has the oldest population in the country, and Aroostook is Maine's second most elderly county, so in was especially encouraging to see so many young families and even teenagers were in attendance.  Even the worship team was made up of four teenage girls.  They are a group who we have performed with before at local talent nights, and it was sweet to minister with them in church that morning.

During the Sunday school hour (which included adults as well as teens and kids) we did "Mary and Marty".  This is one of my favorite juggling routines in which Rose and I retell the story of biblical sisters Mary and Martha.  As the skit continues, more and more kitchen items get juggled in an attempt to impress the Lord (Played by my best friend, Gene, on tape).  At one point I manipulate a wine bottle and a cutting board, and make a joke about Baptists' tendency to be teetotalers.  It brought the house down.  In fact, the Pastor asked us to reprise the routine for the morning service for the whole congregation - alas, not everyone goes for the Sunday school hour.  I was not able to honor his request as we didn't have enough time to reset that particular routine.  Nonetheless, I think everyone was pleased with how the morning turned out.
