“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

LOL at Minerall Springs Estates

LOL's final show of the year, with the exception of our four day trip to Burlington, Vermont next week, was on Tuesday morning, May 12th.  It was at a nursing home in North Conway, NH.  This is one of the nicest facilities of its kind I have seen anywhere, and we have visited many similar institutions throughout our career.

The show was a challenge for me personally, and the team as a whole, because I had not been to school for the previous two school days.  This was due to our daughter's graduation from college, which will be the subject of a blog soon.  My not being in school translated into several days without rehearsal, and, honestly, it showed at first.  As the gig progressed, though, they warmed up and settled in.

Equally challenging was the fact that the audience was on the more highly disabled side, which meant there was minimal response to the routines, and, quite truthfully, may not have really understood a lot of it.  That said, the kids put everything they had into the show and the post-performance visit, showing honor and dignity to each resident and respect to all the staff people we encountered.

The highlight of the show was Judah's facial expressions during his illusion in which an 8 foot cross is produced from a six inch gift bag. He set the bar for the rest of the class  on being a performer instead of a kid doing a magic trick.
