“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

Grace Bible Church, Gorham

On the first of June, the Supreme Court Jesters had a program at Grace Bible Church in Gorham, Maine.  This is the home church of the Soares family.  Donna is our secretary at school, I coached basketball with Brian, and I'll have their daughter, Grace, in my class next year.  The church is set in a beautiful, new building, and the congregation is enthusiastic and welcoming.

I opened the program with my Psalm 150 juggling routine.  In this routine, which is only a semi-regular part of our show, I juggle things that make sounds as I speak verses from the final Psalm: "Praise Him with timbrel" as I juggle tambourines, etc.  After this, Rose did a three ball solo for the first time in her career.  The solo led into our partner routine in which we stole, half juggled, passed, and exchanged normal sized balls and basketballs.  We had spent several days working on this one, and it was a very strong first showing.  We'll do this again often.

From there we did another 30 minutes of material building up to "Do Something Now", our piece on world hunger and the need for American Christians to do something more than just shake our heads and feel overwhelmed.  Then I performed our illusion / story of the woman who washed Jesus feet with her tears.  People were clearly moved by the message of grace.

We closed the show with machete juggling.  Rose had been performing this with LOL, but this was the first time she had joined me with machetes in our show.  She did great, and ended by juggling them on our balance board.  People were already asking when we would be coming back!
