I wrote this years ago at a long, boring church board meeting, inspired by the horrific grammar of one of the board members.  He's actually a very nice guy, but I never told him he inspired this short verse:

It's "We were", not "We was"

It's "We do", not "We does"

Ice is frozen, it's not froze

We don't choose, we say, "We chose"

It's not "I is"; It's "I am"

It's "We brought", not "We brang"

The wind blew, it didn't blowed

We all went, we didn't go-ed

I've been bitten, not 'been bit'

We don't use a chair to 'set', we sit

I know I've not listened as well as I should,

But it's hard to listen when you ain't talkin good.
