“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

WCA Chapel

While the theme of my show at today's chapel, "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain," has been a common theme of ours for the past six or seven months, I also took the opportunity today to try some new material. These included the two new glow in the dark routines I wrote about in an earlier blog, a'mind reading' trick that Sue designed for us out of an empty box of chocolates, and an embellishment that we've added to our story of Elijah and the drought.

All of these new routines went well, especially the mind reading one. The black light diabolo went well, but I want different music. I used Charlie Peacock's "Don't be Afraid", which I normally use for machete juggling, but I'm trying to get a copy of "Dry Bones Dance" by Mark Heard. Actually, I want to perform it in a glowing skeleton suit! The glowing cigar box routine was pretty good. It was actually the fourth time I've performed it, and I'm feeling a little more confident each time.

Most importantly, I believe the Lord used the opportunity to challenge the kids to let God have ALL of us. He doesn't want to repair our 'house', or put an addition on our 'house', He wants to build it from the foundation up. That means, He will inevitably condemn the 'houses' we try to build for ourselves. Lord, let this begin in me.
