“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

LOL @ Bridgton Alliance Church

I just arrived home from an LOL show at my home church.  LOL, if you are new to my blog, is the group of 22 12, 13 and 14 year old jugglers that I teach, and their performance was for the Bridgton Alliance Church’s AWANA club.  AWANA is a church kids’ club for grades K through 6.

Tonight’s show was outstanding, and also unique in several ways.  Stephanie made an entrance during our opening routine on high stilts.  These are the type of stilts that make her about eight feet tall and there’s no place for her hands to hold onto.  In keeping with our theme of ‘fruit’, she tossed grapes into the audience as she walked down the center aisle.

Also new, although more subtle, was Tyler’s thumbs up to the crowd when Erica grabs his arm and walks off stage with him in “I Want To Know What Love Is”.  Ty is one of the shiest boys I’ve ever taught, so for him to add this extra visual humor was hard for him, but he stayed perfectly in character.

Seth, a Bridgton boy himself, did a diabolo solo and nailed it with his usual excellence.  I humbly admit he is better with this prop than I have ever been.  (Whew, that was tough!)  Sam K. ended with the shackle escape as we stressed Paul passage “sinful man that I am, who can set me free… Thanks be to God through Jesus who sets us free.”

It was a fun and meaningful evening for both groups of kids.
