I stare upon the midnight sky,
Watching the stars glint and shine,
They must feel so free those stars,
as they are suspended in the universe, flying, and burning so bright,
But even then, they have the job, to create the same constellations as they always have, night after night.
I wander into the singing forest of towering trees.
birds converse among high branches.
If not the stars, then the birds must feel so free.
Soaring about in the clouds,
But even then, they are made prey,
I swim to the depths of the ocean,
Where measly fish dash and dart through the waters
Where joyous dolphins splash freely with enthusiasm that I longed for,
But just as birds, they are made prey
I step into the warm, and lively abode of mine,
And into the warm embrace of my family,
Here, everything is safe.
Here, there is said to be no worry or heartache.
But the argument of a family is possibly the worst of them all, and causes a deep wound that is hard to be healed,
And so, I step into the grace of God,
Compassion sparks my soul,
And every aspect of life seems to fall into order,
My heart beams with wonder,
And the incredible love of Jesus Christ sets me free.
