“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

LOL at WCA Chapel

My class of 7th and 8th grade jugglers had the chance to do chapel for thier elementary schoolmates on Wednesday morning.  The audience of pre-k through sixth graders are all prospective LOLers themselves, were eager and appreciative through the entire hour long service.

The biggest challenge this particular morning was that there were three students absent, two of whom I didn't know would be out until that morning.  This early in a school year, making substitutions is hard.  In one case, I had to fill in for Katherine; no other student had learned how to do her illusion, which represents the resurrection - could hardly just cut that one from the show.  Other substitutions weren't quite that dramatic, but it still wasn't ideal.

Nonetheless, the show went well; "Very good for October" is how I said it to the kids. Mary was excellent with the shackles escape; She was both funny and effective doing the escape.  Bebe had to fill in as the house in'Wise and Foolish Builders" without any prior rehearsal, and played her part very well.  Myla has just taken off with her diabolo lately, and was one of several who did their juggling bit flawlessly.  Kara was great with three balls, Elly did to balls and a machete, and Dillon performed three basketballs, not an easy trick.

Izzy and I added a partner juggling routine that CJ narratee.  It was a particularly popular routine with both laughs, juggling skills and a message. I am so blessed to work with such high energy talented kids.  I can't wait to see their skill level come spring!
