“Go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that we have been called to use the gifts God has given us to reach unbelievers for Him and to encourage, and build up His Church.

LOL at OVCS

After doing a show at my old church (see previous blog) my student jugglers - LOL- did a chapel service at my pld school; the school where the idea of a middle school juggling troupe originated.  Yesterday, my 15 12 through 14 year olds (two were absent) loaded up the school van and headed to another Chriatian school 25 miles away.

It was great to arrive and reconnect with Scott, a former coteacher who took over the principal position when I left Ossipee Valley Christian School.  Once he brought us to the gym for set up, everyone set to work.  This was ur second show of the year, and the organization was so much better than our first.  Then the show began.

Killian was very nervous to do his card vanish / production, but he nailed it perfectly.  Dillon made his enterance juggling on a ripstick to much applause from the audience, and Eva and Bean - her pet bearded lizard - also got a big response. As the show progressed, some highlights included Jake's portrayal of the prodigal juggler, and Elana's vanish of a donated $20 dollar bill that reappeared in a sealed box.

After the show, I reconnected with one of the teachers I used to work with.  Another teacher approached me and told me she remembered my show from when she was a kid at a summer camp back in 1996!  Then, a former student came up to say hi.  He is now the dad of three OVCS students; he's 6'5" muscular, tattooed and bearded, but I still remember him as the silly boy who was a whiz at math.  Before we were done, I handed him three machetes, which he juggled flawlessly.

When we returned, we all  agreed there was a lot of improvement from our first show in October.  I anticipate having a very strong show as the school year progresses.
